As a part of the Listen Locally season, the orchestra will present the Pittsburgh premiere of newly composed scores to Georges Méliès’ silent films: A Trip to the Moon (1902) and The Kingdom of the Fairies (1903).

Award-winning Pittsburgh composer and international artist, Kyle Simpson D.M.A. and his 17-piece chamber orchestra will perform live with Pittsburgh’s Red Line String Quartet to a screening of Méliès’ two most famous silent films.
